Image Cropper

No — the cropper runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image is loaded, cropped and downloaded on your own device — it is never sent to a server, logged or stored. That makes it safe for private photos, screenshots and confidential graphics, and it keeps working offline once the page has loaded. Closing the tab clears everything.

Pick a ratio above the image — 1:1 for a square profile picture, 16:9 for a video thumbnail or banner, 4:3 or 3:2 for classic photo prints, or 9:16 for a phone or story format. The crop box snaps to that shape and keeps it while you drag the corners. Choose Free to crop to any size you like.

Cropping itself is lossless — it simply keeps the pixels inside the box at their original resolution and discards the rest, so there is no resampling. Any quality change comes only from the output format: PNG is lossless, while JPG and WEBP re-encode with a quality slider you control. Export as PNG for an exact, lossless crop; JPG and WEBP recompress at your chosen quality even when you keep the source format.

Exactly the pixel size shown under the crop box, measured in the original image's resolution — not the size it appears on screen. The preview is scaled to fit your window, but the crop is always taken from the full-resolution image, so a crop that reads 1200 × 800 px really is 1200 × 800 pixels in the downloaded file. The pixel size under the box updates as you drag, so you can set the crop size before you download it.

Yes — a crop can be resized or compressed afterwards. Download the crop, then open it in the Image Resizer to change its pixel dimensions, or the Image Compressor to shrink the file size while keeping those dimensions. All three tools run in the browser with no upload, so you can chain them without your image ever leaving your device.
