How to Watermark a PDF

Add your PDF

Set the watermark
Type your text and adjust the colour, size, opacity and diagonal angle. The preview updates as you go.

Stamp and download
Click Add Watermark to download a new PDF with the watermark on every page.
For a logo instead of text, use Add Image to PDF. Add Page Numbers numbers the same pages, Annotate PDF marks them up, and Sign PDF adds a signature.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add a watermark to a PDF?
Load your PDF, type your watermark text, and choose a colour, size, opacity and whether it sits diagonally. Click Add Watermark and every page gets the stamp in a new downloadable file. Your original PDF on disk is not changed.
Can I make the watermark faint?
Yes — a faint watermark is just a low opacity. The slider goes from very light to solid, so you can lay a subtle background mark or a bold overlay. A low setting keeps the page text underneath readable.
Does it watermark every page?
Yes — the text is drawn on all pages, centred and optionally rotated 45°. The preview shows page one; the download applies to the whole document. There is no control for watermarking only some pages.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No — the PDF stays on your device. The watermark is drawn in your browser with pdf-lib and nothing is uploaded. Closing the tab clears everything.
