Every tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript libraries such as pdf-lib and pdf.js, so your file is read, edited and saved on your own device — it never leaves your computer or phone. Does OCR work on scanned PDFs?
Yes — OCR works on scanned PDFs. OCR PDF reads scanned or image-only PDFs with Tesseract running in your browser and adds an invisible, searchable text layer over the original pages, so you can select, copy and search the text while the scan still looks the same. Accuracy depends on the scan — clean, straight, high-resolution pages in a common language give the best results.
Do the tools work offline and on mobile?
