An invoice is a request for payment — you send it before the customer pays, and it shows what's owed and a due date. A receipt is proof of a payment that's already happened — it records what was paid, how and when, and any balance still due. Bill first with the Invoice Generator, then hand over a receipt from the Receipt Generator once you've been paid.
Both tools run entirely in your browser using a self-hosted PDF engine. Your business details, your customer's details, the amounts and any logo you add are never uploaded — the logo is embedded straight into the PDF, and your current document is saved only in your browser's local storage. No sign-up, no watermark, and no limit on how many documents you create.
