What can I convert to PDF?
Two things: images and Word documents. You can turn one or more images — JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF or BMP — into a PDF, with each image on its own page, which is handy for combining photos, scans or screenshots into a single file. You can also convert a modern Word .docx document into a PDF, where the text stays selectable and searchable. Images and Word documents are converted separately rather than mixed into one PDF.
Does it work with old .doc files?
No. Only the modern .docx format is supported, not the older binary .doc format. The .doc format cannot be reliably read inside a browser. If you have a .doc file, open it in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice and save or export it as a Word Document (.docx), then convert that. Most Word files created in the last fifteen years are already .docx.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF converter runs entirely in your browser. Your images and documents are read and turned into a PDF on your own device, and nothing is uploaded, logged or stored. That makes it safe for private scans, contracts and personal photos, and it keeps working offline once the page has loaded. Closing the tab clears everything.
How faithful is the Word to PDF conversion?
The converter extracts the document's text, headings and bullet lists and lays them out as clean, selectable text on A4 pages, so the result reads well and can be searched and copied. Because it focuses on the text, complex formatting such as embedded images, tables, columns, fonts and exact spacing is simplified or dropped. For a quick, shareable PDF of a document's contents it works well; for a pixel-perfect copy of a heavily designed document, exporting to PDF from Word itself is better.
Can I combine several images into one PDF?
