Keyboard Test
Check that every key on your keyboard works. Press any key and it lights up on the on-screen keyboard below and stays marked as tested — so stuck, dead and ghosting keys are easy to spot. Each key's name and code are shown too. Free, instant, nothing to install. Free on LK Forge — no sign-up.
Click the keyboard once so the page has focus, then press keys. Hold several at once to check for ghosting. A few keys (F5, F11, F12 and some OS shortcuts) are reserved by your system and can't be captured here.
How to Test Your Keyboard
The test matches keys by their physical position (event.code), so it works the same on any language layout.
Press every key
Work across the keyboard row by row. Each key you press turns red and stays highlighted, and the counter shows how many of the keys on screen you've tested.
Spot dead and stuck keys
A key that never lights up is dead — it isn't registering. If "keys held now" stays above zero when your hands are off the keyboard, a key is stuck down. Both mean a hardware fault.
Check ghosting & rollover
Hold several keys at once and watch "keys held now". If it stops climbing, your keyboard can't report that combination — that's ghosting, common on membrane keyboards during fast gaming.
