This is a straightforward digital sketchpad. The toolbar carries 12 tools — select, pencil, line, arrow, rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse, polygon, text, sticky note, image and eraser — plus four ready-made stamps (a callout, a bold arrow, a speech bubble and a star) you can drop in and recolour. Shapes stay vector while you edit, so an SVG export keeps them scalable and a PNG export renders at 2x resolution.

Do I need to install anything to draw online here?

Can I draw freehand as well as add shapes?
Yes — this drawing tool does freehand strokes and shapes on the same canvas. Pick the pencil tool for freehand sketching with adjustable stroke color and width, or use the shape tools for clean rectangles, circles, lines, arrows and polygons. Everything you place stays a separate object, so you can select, move, restyle or delete it long after you drew it.
What file formats can I export my drawing to?
Export your drawing as a PNG or SVG image, or save it as a JSON project file so you can reopen and keep editing it later. You can also copy the drawing straight to your clipboard as a PNG. The JSON keeps every object separate, so reopening it gives you editable shapes rather than a flattened picture.
Will I lose my drawing if I close the tab?
No — the canvas autosaves to your browser's local storage as you draw, so reopening this page restores where you left off. For a permanent backup, export a PNG, SVG or JSON file. That autosave is tied to this browser on this device, so the drawing will not follow you to another machine.
Are there keyboard shortcuts?
Yes — the drawing tool has keyboard shortcuts for editing, view and tool switching. Ctrl/Cmd+Z undoes and Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z or Ctrl/Cmd+Y redoes (up to 50 steps), Ctrl/Cmd+D duplicates the selection, Ctrl/Cmd+C and Ctrl/Cmd+V copy and paste, and Delete or Backspace removes what's selected. Plus and minus zoom in and out, holding Space lets you pan the canvas, and Escape finishes a polygon. Single keys switch tools: V select, P pencil, L line, R rectangle, O ellipse, T text, A arrow.
What colour tools are included?
Pick a base colour and the harmony picker generates nine sets from it — shades, tints, tones, monochromatic, complementary, split-complementary, analogous, triadic and tetradic. You can also load a reference image and pull its dominant colours straight into the swatch tray. Clicking a swatch sets the active stroke or fill, depending on which of the two the colour switch is pointing at, and applies it to anything you have selected.
