Wordle Game
Guess the hidden 5-letter word in 6 tries — free, unlimited, no login needed
🟩 Correct 🟨 Wrong position ◼️ Not in word
How to play Wordle
The Wordle game challenges you to find a secret five-letter word in six guesses. Type any real five-letter word and submit it — each tile lights up to show how close you are. A green tile means the right letter in the right place, yellow means a correct letter in the wrong place, and grey means the letter is not in the word. Use the feedback from each row to deduce the answer before you run out of tries.
Tips to win more Wordle games
- Open with a word rich in common letters and vowels, such as CRANE or SLATE.
- Keep confirmed green letters in place and shuffle yellow letters to new positions.
- Don’t reuse grey letters — they waste a guess.
- Stuck on the last letters? Our Word Unscrambler finds valid words from the letters you already know.

Frequently asked questions
How do you play the Wordle game?
Wordle gives you six tries to guess a hidden five-letter word. Type any valid five-letter word and press Enter. Each tile changes color: green means the letter is correct and in the right position, yellow means it is in the word but in a different spot, and grey means it is not in the word. Use those clues to narrow your next guess until you solve it within six tries. Our version is free and unlimited — start a new game whenever you like, with no daily limit and no sign-up.
Is this Wordle game free and unlimited?
Yes. It is completely free with no account, login, or download, and unlike the original once-a-day puzzle you can play as many rounds as you want. Click New Game at any time for a fresh hidden word. Everything runs in your browser, so your guesses stay on your device. It works on phones, tablets, and desktops using either the on-screen keyboard or your physical keyboard.
What is a good starting word for Wordle?
A strong opener uses several common letters and a mix of vowels and consonants to reveal as much as possible on guess one. Popular choices include CRANE, SLATE, AUDIO, and ROAST. After your first guess, let the green and yellow tiles guide you — reuse confirmed letters in new positions and avoid grey letters. If you get stuck, the Word Unscrambler can find valid words from the letters you already know.
