What this numerical reasoning test measures
Numerical reasoning is your ability to interpret and work with numbers under a little time pressure — a core part of the aptitude tests used in graduate schemes, finance and management selection. This practice test probes it five ways. Number series ask you to find the hidden rule — arithmetic, geometric, quadratic or Fibonacci-like — and continue it. Number analogies test whether you can extract a numeric relationship and transfer it. Percentages, ratios and proportion, and averages are the everyday quantitative skills real tests lean on hardest.
Numbers are kept clean so you can solve each item by hand, which is exactly how you build speed for a real, timed test. Difficulty ramps as you go, from quick warm-ups to multi-step patterns and larger values. Because every test is generated fresh, you can practise as often as you like.
How to read your score honestly
Your result shows a raw score out of 20, a descriptive band, and a per-category breakdown. The honest version: a short, untimed, self-scored test cannot produce an official aptitude percentile — real selection tests are timed, proctored and normed against a specific group. What this test can tell you is how comfortable your mental arithmetic and quantitative logic felt today, and which topics to drill before an exam.
