What this logical reasoning test measures
Logical reasoning is deduction: drawing conclusions that must be true from the information you are given — a core part of the aptitude tests used in law, graduate and management selection. This practice test probes it five ways. Syllogisms give you two premises about groups ("All Krells are Vomes…") and ask which conclusion validly follows. Conditional reasoning tests the if-then forms — affirming the antecedent (modus ponens) and denying the consequent (modus tollens) — the two moves that are always valid. Ordering puzzles ask you to chain transitive comparisons to find who ranks first. Logical sequences hide a repeating two-step rule, and odd-one-out asks you to find the property four items share and the one that breaks it.
The group and if-then questions deliberately use invented words, so your answer rests on the logic alone rather than on real-world knowledge. Difficulty ramps as you go, and because every test is generated fresh, you can practise the reasoning patterns as often as you like.
How to read your score honestly
Your result shows a raw score out of 20, a descriptive band, and a per-category breakdown. The honest version: a short, self-scored online test cannot produce an official aptitude percentile — real selection tests are timed, proctored and normed against a specific group. What this test can tell you is how reliably you separate a valid conclusion from a tempting-but-invalid one today, and which deduction patterns to drill before an exam.
