    Yes/No Wheel FAQ

How does the yes or no wheel work?
The wheel comes pre-loaded with six slices — three Yes and three No — so both answers always have an exactly equal 50/50 chance. Press spin and your browser picks the result using crypto.getRandomValues, the same cryptographically secure random generator used for security keys, before the wheel even starts turning. The animation then lands on that answer. Nothing about the speed or timing of your click changes the odds. You can also edit the slices: make it Yes/No/Maybe, or stack the wheel honestly by adding more of one answer — the slice count is the probability.
Is a yes or no wheel better than a coin flip?
Statistically they are identical — a fair 50/50. The wheel wins on experience: you see the options, you get a suspenseful spin, and the answer arrives with confetti, which makes it easier to actually commit to the result. The wheel is also more flexible than a coin: add a third option like Ask again tomorrow, or weight the answers by adding duplicate slices, and it stops being a coin and becomes whatever decision maker you need. If you feel disappointed when the wheel says No, that is useful information too — you just learned what you really wanted.
Can I change the options on the wheel?
Yes — the Manage Items panel works exactly like the full Spin the Wheel tool. Delete slices, add Maybe or Ask later, or replace the whole list with your own options using Paste list. The yes/no preset is just a starting point. If you find yourself building a bigger wheel with many custom options, use the full spin the wheel page instead: it saves your list in your browser between visits, while this preset page always starts fresh at Yes/No so it is ready for an instant decision.
