    Heads or Tails FAQ

Is the wheel really a fair 50/50?
Yes. The wheel carries two Heads and two Tails slices of identical size, and the result is drawn with crypto.getRandomValues — the cryptographically secure generator your browser uses for encryption — before the animation starts. Every spin is an independent, exactly-50/50 event. That is actually fairer than a physical coin: studies of real coin flips have found small biases from the toss and the starting side, and a caught coin can be influenced. The wheel has no thumbs to cheat with.
Why flip a coin with a wheel?
Mostly because you never have a coin when you need one — and because the wheel is better theater. The spin is visible to everyone on the call or at the table, the suspense of the slowdown makes the verdict feel final, and the result arrives with confetti instead of rolling under the couch. The wheel is also more flexible: add a third slice like Flip again or Ask tomorrow, or weight one side honestly with the ×2 badge if you both agree the odds should not be even.
Can I do best of three?
Just spin three times — every spin is independent, so a best-of-three works exactly like it would with a real coin. Keep your own tally, or make it visual: add slices named Heads 1, Heads 2, Tails 1, Tails 2 and remove each winner as you go. If the decision keeps ending 2–1 and someone demands best of five, that is no longer probability, that is negotiation — try the yes or no wheel and agree to obey it first.
