About Jupiter
Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system — more than twice the mass of all the other planets combined. This gas giant is famous for the Great Red Spot, a storm wider than Earth that has raged for centuries.
Jupiter spins faster than any other planet, completing a day in under 10 hours, and commands a huge family of moons, including the four large Galilean moons: Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto.
