A Gantt chart lays every task of a project out as a horizontal bar against a calendar, so the start, the length and the overlap of each piece of work are visible at a glance. It is the standard planning view for exactly that reason — a linear to-do list tells you what to do, but a Gantt chart tells you when, and where the crunch is.

How to Make a Gantt Chart
Press + Task to add a row, then set its name, start date and duration in days — the bar appears on the timeline immediately. To reschedule, either edit the start date in the list or drag the bar sideways on the chart; it snaps to whole days and the date updates as you drag. Recolor a task with its colour swatch, reorder rows with the up and down arrows, and remove one with the × button. Everything autosaves to this browser as you work — no account, no upload — and when you are ready to share or back up, use PNG for a flat image or Save JSON to download the data and Import it again later to keep editing.
