Free Network Tools

A hosted suite of browser networking utilities — resolve DNS records, geolocate an IP address, and measure round-trip time with a TCP ping. No installs, no sign-up, results in milliseconds.

How Network Tools Works

Three focused utilities, one consistent interface. Pick a tool, paste a value, and read clean output.

1

Pick a tool

Choose DNS Lookup for domain records, IP Address Lookup to geolocate an address, or the Ping Tool to measure reachability and latency. Each one is a single page with one job.

2

Enter a value and run

Type a domain, IP address, or host, or click one of the example chips to try it instantly. DNS and IP lookups resolve in your browser; the ping runs on a hosted edge worker so it works even when your network blocks raw connections.

3

Read the results

Records, geolocation fields, and per-probe timings are laid out in plain, copyable blocks — no walls of raw output. Nothing is stored, and every tool is rate-limited per IP to stay fast and fair.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the LK Forge Network Tools?
Network Tools is a free suite of browser-based networking utilities hosted on LK Forge. The current tools are a DNS Lookup that resolves A, AAAA, MX, NS, CNAME, CAA and TXT records, an IP Address Lookup that geolocates any IPv4 or IPv6 address with ASN, ISP, timezone and reverse DNS, and a Ping Tool that measures TCP round-trip time to any public host. Everything runs from a hosted resolver, so you do not need to install dig, nslookup, or any command-line tools.
Are the Network Tools free to use?
Yes. Every tool in the suite is completely free with no sign-up, no account, and no payment. Lookups are rate-limited per IP to keep the hosted resolvers fair for everyone, but there is no usage cap you need to register for. Just open a tool and run a query.
Do these tools run in my browser or on a server?
It depends on the tool. The DNS Lookup and IP Address Lookup run entirely in your browser, calling public DNS-over-HTTPS and geolocation APIs directly. The Ping Tool runs on a hosted edge worker because browsers cannot open raw TCP connections — it opens a TCP socket to the host and port you choose and reports the connect time. No query is stored.
Do I need an account or to install anything?
No. There is nothing to download or install and no account to create. The tools work in any modern browser on desktop or mobile. They are a convenient, hosted alternative to running dig, nslookup, whois, or ping from a terminal, with clean readable output.
