What meta tags does this generate?
The SEO title and meta description, a canonical link, the Open Graph tags used by Facebook, LinkedIn and most link previews (og:title, og:description, og:url, og:image, og:type, og:site_name), and Twitter Card tags. Fill in the fields you have and only those tags are produced; paste the result into the <head> of your page.
How long should the title and description be?
Aim for roughly 50 to 60 characters for the title and about 150 to 160 for the meta description, since search engines truncate longer text in results. The generator warns you when either exceeds the usual limit so you can trim it.
Do I need both Open Graph and Twitter tags?
Open Graph covers most platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack and iMessage. Twitter/X reads Twitter Card tags but falls back to Open Graph if they are missing, so the Twitter tags are optional polish. Providing an image is what turns a plain link into a large preview card.
Is anything uploaded or stored?
No. The tags are assembled locally in your browser as you type, so nothing you enter is sent to a server, logged or stored. There is no account or sign-up, and it works offline once loaded.
