What the widget shows

The simulator opens with a block already settling in water, so a visitor sees it float immediately and can then take control:

  • Object density: slide it across the fluid's density to flip between floating and sinking.
  • Fluid: pick oil, water, seawater, glycerin or mercury and watch the block ride higher or lower.
  • Drag to test: pull the block under the surface and release it to watch it bob back to equilibrium.

Pick the right height

The snippet uses height="820", which fits the tank, the sliders and the readouts without clipping even on a narrow phone, where they stack into one column.
